Amorim Discovers Milanello: The New Rossoneri Era Begins

It’s the moment AC Milan supporters around the world have been waiting for: Ruben Amorim visits Milanello, the club’s training complex, for the very first time. After landing at Linate yesterday — during which he visited the club’s headquarters and San Siro — the new Portuguese head coach is ready to see firsthand what will be his professional home for the coming years.

In the early afternoon today, around 2:00–3:00 PM, Amorim will arrive at Milanello to explore the facilities, the training pitches and everything the centre has to offer. A crucial visit for a coach who has already shown, throughout his previous experiences, that he places enormous importance on the quality of daily work and on how training environments are managed.

The New Manager’s First Words

Upon his arrival at Linate, Amorim had already sent a clear and direct message to the fans and to the club: “I am proud and happy to be managing Milan. It’s a club I have always admired, and we must win. Whoever is at Milan must fight to win — that is an important message.” Words that leave no doubt about the mentality and ambition the coach intends to bring to Milanello.

Amorim landed in Milan with great enthusiasm and his energy was immediately felt in his first moments in the city. Tomorrow, Saturday, at 3:00 PM at Casa Milan, his first official press conference is scheduled, during which he will speak at length about his footballing philosophy, the season’s objectives and the type of Milan he intends to build.

The Pre-Season Schedule: Squad Reports Sunday

The days ahead are already marked on the Rossoneri calendar. On Sunday the 12th, all players who did not take part in the World Cup will meet at Milanello for the first physical and medical tests. This is the moment the group begins to come together and take shape under the new coaching staff’s direction.

Monday the 13th officially marks the start of the new season: first training session on the pitch and the official opening of pre-season camp. It’s the date that symbolically launches the 2025–2026 campaign under Amorim’s guidance, with all the ambitions and expectations that come with it.

Players returning from the World Cup — including those who participated in the competition, such as Pulisic and Leão — will join the group at a later stage, following the rest period required under FIFA regulations.

A Milan Determined to Win Again

Amorim’s arrival represents far more than a simple change on the bench. It is the beginning of an ambitious sporting project, backed by a transfer campaign already delivering important signings such as Mario Gila from Lazio. Milan have every tool needed to return to the top in Italy and Europe, and Ruben Amorim is the man chosen to lead this resurgence.

The countdown has begun. Milanello is ready to welcome its new leader.
