The direct consequence is that Milan will essentially be working in Australia as if they were still at Milanello: training sessions, tactical work and athletic preparation, but no competitive match until 5 August, when the Rossoneri will face Inter in the opening game of the international tournament that forms the centrepiece of the Australian tour.
